Abstract
There are two main objectives for this project. The first objective is to fulfill the requirements for the Diploma of Information Technology. The second objective is to provide UMNO Serdang with a computer-based membership registration system. To develop the system the author has used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. The SDLC consists of 5 phases of development processes. The reason for developing a new computer-based system is to replace the old manual system. With a new computer-based Membership Registration System at UMNO Serdang the processes of managing files are easier and faster. The new system will have functions like save, edit, update, find and delete data. All the functions stated are done using the computer. The system is developed using programs like Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Word.
