Abstract
In this era of technological advancement, automation is applied almost everywhere in all aspects of human life. Conventional houses that use manual control is slowly being replaced with a faster and more advanced automatic control to make human lifestyle more convenient. This thesis presents the adjustment that is done to improve the Home Automation using the latest trending Internet of Things automation technology. The Arduino microcontroller used for this project provides the ability to process the input and output signals of all the device and component used while communicating with the web server and the mobile application through the internet. The Blynk application used offered a server for the signals to pass through from the Arduino microcontroller to the mobile application in addition to also providing a graphical user are developed and configured. Monitoring and control of the condition and device inside of a house can be done by the user through the Blynk application inside of a smartphone. The outputs done in the trials proved that the designed Home Automation system succeeds at monitoring the condition inside of a house while also succeeding at controlling both manually and automatically of all the device used inside of a house.
