Abstract
The rise in number of vehicle on the road has resulted in rapid development of road transportation network. Therefore, it is very important to maintain the road pavement and the road appurtenances in good condition so that it is safe for the road user to use it. There are manual and guideline to maintain the condition of road pavement and road appurtenances. A visual inspection on road pavement and appurtenances was done on the chosen road to identify the condition of it. Result of the inspection shows that there are lots of pavement deterioration and some of the road appurtenances are in bad condition. These deterioration and bad condition of the road appurtenances can cause fatal to the road user. Steps to maintain and fix the road problems should be taken as stated by the existing manual and procedure on how to maintain and conduct repair.
