dc.description.abstractThis thesis project puts forward the idea of research for lightning strikes paths since there has been not enough study about this topic. By optimizing MATLAB using different algorithms to identify, cluster and determine the lightning strike path with respect to time, location and lightning current, this research is expected to bring significant output that will help in solving lightning strikes research. At the same time, Data Science approaches are also vital in helping this research to meet the objectives. This project is applicable to TNBR (Tenaga Nasional Berhad Research) as it can help to ensure safe locations and distances for TNB buildings from lightning strikes.en_US
