Agriculture in Malaysia has always been the backbone of its economy for a long time since the 1980s. However, with the energy transition becoming trending in this 21st century, environmental pollution came to mind. Thus, the aim of this study is to investigate the impact of the agriculture sector on GHG emissions in Malaysia empirically from 1990 to 2021. To ensure Malaysia's green initiatives go smoothly, I believe it is worth looking into such a matter. This study uses correlation analysis along with multiple regression analysis as a source of quantitative data technique to deal with numerical data sets, examining relationships between dependent variable and independent variables for results. With the obtained results, investigating the impact of the agriculture sector on GHG emissions in Malaysia made easy. Only then we can see whether independent variables selected actually impacted the dependent variable or the opposite.
