This project is about cyclic tester which uses pneumatic actuator. The cyclic tester is used to test the lifecycle of the 'Push to talk' (PTT) button in radios that being designed in Motorola Solutions Inc. Motorola Solutions Inc. known for producing mission-critical communication devices and the products need to be tester out following manual references to practice A81-MIL standard (military). The main objective of this project is to optimize the pneumatic actuator to actuate consistent 5 lbf force on PTT button. Few implementations were made whereby the cyclic tester's parameters and method of conducting the test have to be standardize for consistent result of 5 lbf using actual radio. This project covers an actual problem in working field and the solution method which act as an outcome for this project will be implemented using cyclic tester's available in Motorola Solutions for producing a conducive test setup.
