The aim of this study is to study on potential use of polyurea as coating material for elevator counterweight. The sample material that was going to be conduct during the experiment was cast iron and concrete block. The original and coated cast iron samples were tested for Corrosion resistance by using electrochemical corrosion test. Water absorption test also been tested on the original and coated cast iron samples using the formula (Dry weight - Wet weight / Dry weight) x 100. Density measurement were also taken using the formula mass per unit volume. The concrete block samples were tested for the Compression value by using compression machine.en_US
