This paper proposes the modelling of hybrid solar photovoltaic energy with diesel generator with electric vehicle load to reduce resort islands fossil fuel dependency based on actual generation-side energy auditing, assessment of solar photovoltaic energy and economic analysis. The resort island selected is Tioman, which is mostly relies on diesel fuel generator for energy generation. However, diesel price is unstable and volatile, high operation and maintenance cost for generator and emit loads of hazardous gases to environment that prone to global warming. Therefore, to reduce fossil fuel dependency, the modelling of hybrid solar photovoltaic energy with diesel generator with electric vehicle load is proposed. The project starts with collecting monthly electricity consumption and types of load for different categories of consumers as well as solar daily and monthly irradiation data. Then, Microsoft Excel was used to model of hybrid diesel generator with PV system with and without EV load. The analysis of the different model includes the diesel consumption and total cost.
