dc.description.abstractThis thesis reports the design of interactive nuclear power plant model for exhibition, specifically Pressurized Water Reactor nuclear power plant. The objectives of this project is to explain the functions of each crucial components in nuclear power plant, including on how the electricity energy is generated in the power plant, and the benefits of using nuclear to generate power instead of conventional method by using fossil fuels. This project was carried to reach and expose the public about the positivity of nuclear power, in relation to fulfill the requirement of Public Information and Public Acceptance to implement the technology in this country. A survey was done to measure on how effective the model is in achieving the objectives. The result of the survey shows that the objectives of this project is achieved. The percentage of the correct answers in post-evaluation section is more than 80% for all questions, and 80% of the respondents obtained scores of 8 and higher for the post-evaluation section.
