dc.description.abstractThe development of RFID technology have make everyday works become easier. The works that include data reading and management like supply chain, manufacturing and inventory storage have implement this technology to make the works become more productive and structured. Plus with the combination of an advance Internet of Things (IoT) technology, both of this technology makes the operational works easier. This project include both of this technology and implement in on the shopping trolley makes the conventional trolley become an IoT shopping trolley. Plus, the hardware on this shopping trolley is integrated with smartphone apps by utilizing the NodeMCU ESP8266-01 IoT module. This module support wireless connection. Applications named Blynk is used as cloud storage to store the related information regarding to this project. The FSR402 and buzzer act as the security system. FSR402 read the weight of product inside the trolley and the buzzer to notify the user or the on duty staff for any unregistered weight inside the trolley. The fast shopping activities can be experienced since the hardware able to operate the calculation function and the payment can be done anywhere in the shopping mall grocery store. Thus, the pleasant of shopping activities can be felt by the implementation of RFID and IoT technology.en_US
