dc.description.abstractThis study is to analyze the comparison of stone mastic asphalt using hot mix and warm mix process. Hot mix process is the common technology that used in the pavement construction. Nowadays, most of the engineers’ interest to find out about the warm mix process which is used the medium temperature that can reduce the fuel and energy during the construction. This also can save the environment and avoid from get sick during work. This laboratory work that already done is Marshall Test which is conclude that hot mix process and warm mix process does not have so much different in value of stability and flow. The results revealed hot mix and warm mix process meets the requirement that stated in the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR/SPJ/2008-S4). Based on the researchers and results, recommendation is temperature should be higher than 30 ̊ C reduction. Therefore, it can be accomplish the warm mix process are safe and can be used in construction.en_US
