The rapid urbanization and industrialization all over the world has resulted in large deposition of plastic waste. Plastic waste product is used to improve the workability in concrete and decrease the plastic waste in our environment. Quantities of plastic also have increased these recent years due to the boost in industrialization and the rapid improvement in the standard of living. Recently, most of plastic wastes are abandoned and less recycled. This situation causes serious problems such as wastage of natural resources and environmental pollution. Polymer products such as synthetic fibers, plastics and rubber belong to petrochemical compound and not easily biodegradable even after a long period. One of the ways to reduce this problem is to utilize waste materials in the production of concrete. This study propose the determination of the dry density properties of concrete with plastic waste and to find the properties of compressive, tensile and flexural strength of plastic waste and finally, compare the performance of concrete with plastic waste vs. concrete. An experimental study is made on the utilization of plastic waste in concrete with a percentage of 10 %, 20% and 30% The experimental results showed that the effect of these mixing ratios were 10%, 20%, 30% as an improvement for the slump test respectively, for the mixing ratios, respectively, for the mixing ratios, and finally, the compressive tests were with improvement percentages 10%. for the mixing ratios.
