dc.description.abstractNoise is define as loud, unwanted and unpleasant combination of sounds that may deteriorate human’s hearing mechanism or contributes towards mental health such as annoyance, agitation, stress and difficulties in communication. Recently, a MRT construction project has been implemented in an urban area consist of residential, commercial and industrial type of land use. The project are currently ongoing in Serdang Jaya. This study will focus on how the noise accumulated from the site construction may influence to the surrounding including the construction workers, pedestrians and residents of Serdang Jaya. It is a high risk for construction worker to work continuously in excessive noise environmental. Thus, leading to investigating whether the noise sources from the construction site follows the allowable of noise limit guideline provided by Department of Environmental, DOE.en_US
