T The main aim of the work presented in this thesis is to investigate the water particle deposition in the last stage of low-pressure steam turbine. This water particle will caused the erosion in the system which will lead to the steam turbine failure. The first step of this work was to validate a condesing flow study by comparing the simulated result with the cited paper. Once the simulated result shows a good agreement, the next work on the investigation of water droplet erosion takes place. In this part of work, the water droplet behaviour will be tracked and the erosion rate will be analyzed using the Discrete Phase Model. From the result obtained, the validation work shows a satifactory agreement, and the behaviour of water droplet erosion were succesfully analyzed and discussed. On top of that, it is proven that the software used for this thesis is reliable to solve such complicated process with an edaquate result.en_US
