dc.description.abstractThis medication reminder device functions as a reminder system for depressed patient. The main function of this device is to alert depressed patient on their medication timing. The device performs this with a visual display, audible sound and portable pill box for medication storage. It has three medication timing allocation intended for morning, afternoon and night. This medication reminder works as a tracking system that is convenient. Patients' ought to be advised about their medication at anywhere and anytime. It additionally has a LCD display to demonstrate the medicine time and pill box name needed to be opened. The advantage of this device is it permits patients' to have better access on their medicine remedies. It likewise makes an improved correspondence between caretaker and patients'. In addition, this mechanism is also acknowledged easy to use as it comprise of a simple to-program keypad and alarm settings which is suitable for depressed patients to handle themselves. The prototype of the device was successful with all the improvements made. The project's objectives were fully met. It could be said that this mechanism will get convenient as in this era, everything is getting hectic and individuals have more critical things in life that we overlook such patients. This gadget will help to conquer this issue and the depressed patient might be taken care always.
