The Motorized cutter for harvesting palm fruits has been developed over a decade. This device has attracted researchers and machine manufacturer around the globe. This work could affect the performance of palm oil outcome as it is can reduce the labour consumption by 50%. Several prototypes have been developed by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board. The only issue in previous prototype is the sustainability of the cutting head. Thus, a new design with different concept was generated. Then, finite element analysis was performed to get a virtual simulation results which are related to the stress experienced during operational. All the simulations also give an overview whether the design can withstand the stress and can operate for a very long time. In addition, a comparison was made with the previous design and it proves that the new design is better in every aspect including cost, material consumption, vibration and sustainability.
