dc.description.abstract | The voltage stability of the power system is important to be maintained to avoid major breakdown in the system. Basically, this thesis report is based on the fuzzy logic system which is used to analyze the condition of the buses and lines. This fuzzy logic system was being used for IEEE 30- bus system. This fuzzy logic system is a new method to supervise or to tell the behavior for the buses and lines. This fuzzy logic is a system that are easy to be understood because the systems are using normal language that everyone use that is English language. However, to make sure the fuzzy logic successfully works, there are certain parameters needed. For example, voltage index, apparent power index and certain rules in the fuzzy. The power flow of 30-bus system output is solved by the Newton Raphson method and later those values will be used to find the final voltage index and apparent power index. The fuzzy logic now will take place by using the parameters of voltage index and apparent power to find the overall severity index ranking for the 30-bus system. This thesis cases are basically based on N-1 contingency and addition power to the loads at certain bus. | en_US |
