dc.description.abstractThis thesis paper present the productivity of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction project by using regression analysis around Klang Valley. In urban area, public transport is one of the necessary transportation as to transport from one place to another place. With the undergoing of LRT extension construction project, identify the factor that affect the productivity rate is a way to reduce the time delay of the project. Thus the objective of this study is to identify factor and compare the relationship based on the productivity performance. For this purpose, questionnaire has been distributed to several organization who play major role in construction and with the calculation of Relative Important Index (RII), four top factor has been determined. A regression analysis has been done to classify the significant or insignificant of the factor and also the relationship of the factor respect to the time delay. It is found that, only two factor are significant which are labour and design changes. With all the data required in this study, this thesis paper shows how to predict the productivity performance by modelling equation based on the significant factor.
