In the field of Wireless Body Network (WBAN), the network performance of data transmission between the transmitter and the receiving device is one of the most important factors that ensure a healthy system in monitoring the patient's condition. The patient's vital data is transmitted wirelessly through a wave to the receiving devices, which may be a computer or a mobile phone that adopted the use of wireless sensors to monitor the patient's condition. The sensors, usually of high cost, is small with long battery life, must be able to distinguish medical pulses such as electrocardiogram (ECG), photoplethysmogram (PPG), electroencephalogram (EEG), and temperature. Information gathered from the devices in controller will be transferred to remote destinations through remote body-zone system for remedial and analytic goal. This is made possible by the incorporation of wireless network that are meant for long-range transmissions. In this paper presented the basic concept of network performance, sensor node features, introduced an overview for the WBAN application with sensor node design, also explain the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the monitoring of patient system using the CCU. The network topologies with the Sensor communication in the human body explained in this paper. 2021 IEEE.en_US
