Abstract
The objective of this paper is to provide a fundamental understanding of the framework for GB sustainable assessment tool. The main purpose of GB tool is to achieve sustainable development in construction building industry. Another objective of this paper is to develop an effective GB sustainable assessment tool for residential based on the local condition. The sustainable tool need to consider environmental, social and economic aspect. During the past decade, there is various number of sustainable assessment was developed such as BREEAM, LEED, SB tool, CASBEE. Before develop the GB sustainable tools, the fundamental knowledge of these existing have to review and do a comparison among them. Besides that, the criteria for assessment need to determine from these existing framework to develop an environmental assessment tool. After selected criteria for the framework, the weight of each of the criteria have to determine by using ASP method. The expected outcome of this study is a GB sustainable assessment tool will be developed which achieve the condition of local context in term of environmental, social and economic aspect. � 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
