Abstract
The current study was carried out to investigate the biokinetic model of Botryococcus sp. in removing NH4+ and PO43- from meat processing wastewater. The removal efficiency of NH4+ ranged from 89.74% to 99.03% and from 92.39% to 99.93% for PO43-. The biokinetic coefficients of NH4+ were (Formula presented.) = 1.72 mg NH4+ mg?1 chl a d?1 and (Formula presented.) = 52.29 mgL?1. The biokinetic coefficients of PO43- were as follows; (Formula presented.) = 1.13 mg PO43- mg?1 chl a d?1 and (Formula presented.) = 44.45 mg/L. The techno-economic analysis indicated that the fixed capital estimate will cost USD 920,500 with an annual operating 7920 h/year. 2020 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
