dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, titled Impact Resistance of Light Weight Oil Palm Shell Concrete with oil Palm Fibres, consist of a project developed from a problem that is occuring in a higher demand of concrete for building construction nowadays. The project is developed to counter the problem of impact resistance of concrete by adding fibres to concrete mix. The aim of the experiment is to: I.Study the impact resistance of concrete agaisnt the thickness of slabs. II.Study the impact resistance of concrete agaisnt volume fraction of fibres inside concrete mix. III.To determine the impact resistance of concrete against aspect ratio of fibres added to the concrete mix.
