dc.description.abstractInnovation for parking technology due to increasing parking spot in a compact population area is no doubt to be much important and relevant for increasing the utilities and public services. The insufficient parking space is prove to be a problem in the urban areas. Thus, the innovation towards parking system appeared to be attraction solution for this major problem. There are many research and design exist consisting the parking management and technology. In this project, a 3D conceptual design of a Parking lifting lever system is developed by using CAD software, for this project it is SolidWork. The demand of having design with unique features and applicable to terminate the disability of existing design that are more challenging things to designer has been increasing since the last decade. This design study focuses in designing a 3D concept, prototyping and strength testing to the model developed. This design project is also provides a simulation on the mechanical movement of the parking mechanism and the combination of scissors mechanism with ball screw that convert horizontal movement into vertical movement. The parking mechanism designed are able to support the designated weight as the author conducted several testing on the 3D design which applied with suitable material.
