This studies finishes up the effect of sintering temperatures and sintering rates to the final product formed through warm compaction route. Three parameters that have been studied in this project were the sintering rate, sintering temperature and the holding time. The mixture of Zinc Stearate and Ferum powder ASC 100.29 is set up in the feedstock to be compacted in a 150°C environment with an applied load of 130 kN. The upper and lower punch are simultaneously pushed towards each other for the sake of compacting the powder to form green samples. The green sample is then pushed out from the compact machine to be sintered under air pressure with the use of Argon gas. During sintering, the particles in the samples diffused over the boundaries of the particles and bond the particles together, thus creating an all-new, singular solid mass. All the sintered samples were characterized for their physical, electrical and mechanical properties by assessing the density changes, electrical resistivity test and bending test. The bending test result shows that sample 7(1000 °C sintering temperature and 5°C/min sintering rate) has the greatest bending strength. The analysis for microstructures were done for five samples that break during the bending prior through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
