Natural disasters like a flash flood, haze and earthquake are the disasters that can't be expected from human when it's coming. Thus, disasters will affect the human life and also natures. By having responsible society from government and non-government, they struggling to find the solutions to these problems. One of them is developing warning system for flash flood. Through this system, human will receive an alert for incoming flash flood. In this thesis, the project develops a flash flood warning system with using Arduino Uno microcontroller. The electronic components like resistor, LED, transistor and water sensor board used in this project for developing water sensor circuit. Arduino Uno microcontroller as controller for the system during the operation begun and also as converter signal from an analog signal to digital signal. Analog signal produce when the water sensor board touches the water and sends the signal through the circuit while digital send produce after microcontroller received analog signal and convert it into digital signal. Arduino IDE and Microsoft Visual Basic software used as programming parts in this project. Creating result display with Microsoft Visual Basic needs an understanding of C++ language and knows the rules of coding. Arduino IDE as a platform for all Arduino microcontroller allow user to sketch any codes that depend on the objective of the project.
