dc.description.abstractNowadays, remembering important tasks becomes more challenging activity as people get older. Due to the loss of memory, senses and ability to remember, it gives impact in the elderly life which can reduce their quality of life, loss of independence, and increased burden on the elderly and their caretakers. A simple and intuitive system, and is able to dynamically manage tasks is a great aid to those who have a hard time remembering things. There are many reminder mobile applications for an Android user but none of them focuses on user interface for elderly users. To solve this problem, a guideline and features for elderly reminder mobile application will be identified using quantitative method. Next, an elderly reminder mobile application will be developed using mental model based on the identified guideline and features. � 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.en_US
