dc.description.abstract | This thesis will have covered on Ultrasonic Testing (UT)application to super alloy material called alloy 625 which will be welded on a carbon steel 1020 which can be called as duplex material. The demand for this material application in industries nowadays is high due to the ability to resists heat and high strength. The experiment will be conducted in a CIVA software, an innovative software for all NDT methods developed by EXTENDE company to provide and alternative technique instead of conventional technique (equipment) where hands on activity and practices is required in order to perform an inspection. | en_US |
