dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses about the performance of lithium ion battery with different types of controller which are proportional, integral and derivative controller (PID controller) and Fuzzy Logic controller. The performance of the controllers are then compared in order to deploy the best controller for the battery thermal management system for the electric vehicles. Once the performance of the controllers are compared, the performance of the battery thermal management system with and without of the controller is also compared. Since temperature also effect the state of charge (SOC) of the battery, the SOC is also discussed in this paper.en_US
