This thesis investigates the invention of flat V-trough for the current flat plate collector, as a solar thermal collector. A V-trough collector has been developed to use the availability of solar radiation on Earth in the form of heat. The key objectives of this analysis are to determine the efficiency and the effect of the tilting angle on its output of the solar thermal collector V-Trough. Work should be done for a number of reasons. Firstly, Malaysia is now moving towards sustainable energy, particularly solar energy. Another explanation is that natural resources are lessen day by day. Working on renewable energy can therefore help to preserve capital. For the purpose of building a collector a few approaches have been set out. The thesis would discuss in detail how to create a design concept and make the best option. In addition, a technique on how to perform the experiment was developed in order to measure the efficiency of the design. Consequently, all the research findings are similar to previous studies which show that the study is trustworthy and this can be used during projects in the futureen_US
