There is an increase in motorcycles traffic accidents, while the cause for such accidents has always been associated with aggressive driving behaviors. There has been considerable research attention on how to deal with such driving behavior that causes severe and fatal accidents from the academic perspective; these research works addressed technical, scientific, and social issues. This study systematically searches, reviews, and analyzes the literature associated with motorcycle accidents and driving behaviors. Between the years 2014 and 2021, the next four databases have been searched: ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE Xplore. A total of 108 people were picked depending on certain inclusion and exclusion criteria. Approximately 68% (n=79/108) of the researchers looked at the challenges from a social science perspective, whereas 25% (n=26/108) concentrated on experimental research variables. Only 7% (n =3/108) explored the development of Apps & systems. Finally, our contribution comprehensively analyses most of the articles by highlighting challenges associated with motorcycle behavior, motivations, and recommendations. In addition, provide potential research gaps in current studies that require further investigation. 2022 Little Lion Scientific. All rights reserved.en_US
