Abstract
Physiotherapy exercises focus on prevention and rehabilitation which have been scientifically proven to be one of the most effective ways that you can solve or prevent pain and injury. Physiotherapist spend a great deal of time observing their rehabilitation techniques with patients. A patient undergoing rehabilitation is routine and does not need nor require the physiotherapist’s care necessarily. A wheelchair is the most common assistive device which enables personal mobility and it is one of the important aspects of the user’s life. This research work mainly focusing on developing a walker of the size of a teenage human for physiotherapy treatment. Instead of using a current walker in the market which requires a patient to stand up and use their upper body muscle and strength to support their weight, this walker is based on a baby’s walker that sits patient fixed position. The input from sensor is given to encoder which sends the data and given to microcontroller. Based on data received from the sensor the microcontroller sends the signal accordingly to relays to direct or stops the patient’s movement.
