dc.description.abstractMagnetic field is produced whenever current flow based on the Ampere’s law. The study magnetic field near transmission line is very important due to its potential health effects. This is because magnetic field from transmission line are very close to building in the cities due to rapid development. According to WHO, no real prove that magnetic radiation from transmission line is dangerous to the people. However, researchers still concerned about it. This project is to measure effect of shielding near transmission line to see the magnetic field value before shielding and after shielding. The measurement is using MATLAB software and developed some equations to put in the software. The results from this project shows the minimum exposure to the public after shielding method is used. This project gives a better understanding of the magnetic field exposures near the transmission line.en_US
