Ultrasonic Ranging System uses the reflection property of sound wave to work. The device can measure the distance between two point by simply emit or transmit the short burst of ultrasonic wave and listening for an echo. The distance can be computed by multiply the speed of sound (approximately 1065 feet per second= 324.612 meter per second) by the time take by the emitted signal to return (time divide by 2). The ultrasonic ranging system device consists of three main parts: transmitter, receiver and the timing circuit. The design is purely hardware including the timing circuit. The circuit is activate when the trigger is pulled.en_US
