dc.description.abstractThe aims of this thesis is to understand and characterize the factors of causing ramping event in a large scale solar phovoltaic (PV) system. The best location to install the solar photovoltaic source with a battery energy storage system (BESS) is determined and studied in this project. As PV ramping is occurred in all around the worldit is important to do this research study to mitigate the ramping events and give a new technique to locate the best location to install a new large scaled capacity of solar PV farm connected with BESS.
