dc.description.abstractThere is a lot of harmful factors that can cause the underground cable to degrade. Typically, most of the cases are re;ated to the insulation itself. The degradation of insulation may end up by damaging the whole cable and become the worst by effecting the whole power system network. Furthermore, the cost of installing new cables would be very high and this will increase the loss that the utility companies need to deal with.
