Increased demand for environmental sustainability has led to an increase in the manufacture and deployment of energy efficient building materials. Cenospheres are one of the most desirable products of coal combustion currently as they have a hollow spherical structure. Meanwhile, it has been shown that the use of Phase Change Material (PCM) in the building has proven to be an effective way to improve thermal regulation in the building. This paper carried out a thermal conductivity test to analyse the impact of the thermal properties by adding cenosphere and PCM on the concrete mortar. In addition, an influence of the cenosphere and PCM on the compressive strength test and splitting tensile test of the concrete mortar as the mechanical properties was observed. Various volumes of cenosphere percentages have been tested. The findings for the mechanical properties analysis showed that, in general, the addition of cenosphere and PCM resulted in a significant reduction of compressive strength and splitting tensile strength. Regarding thermal properties, the decrease in k values has shown that the improvement of the cenosphere dosage and the presence of PCM make thermal conductivity more effective.en_US
