dc.description.abstractThe health and safety of worker is very important when doing high-risk works such as on transmission tower and at construction site. The hot weather, height, EMF radiation from transmission line and others could affect the worker's health. This dangerous and high-risk work also can cause panic attack to the worker which can lead to accident. The health monitoring device currently could help in monitoring the health of a person in daily usage. However, there are still no health monitoring device that are applicable for high-risk workers nowadays. The project tends to act as the solution for the high- risk worker. The health parameters monitored are heart rate and body temperature. These parameters could be a bench mark to detect various illness such as fever, hypothermia, coronary heart disease and many more. This device also could be used to detect panic attack that happen during high-risk work. This health monitoring device will be made in belt form to make it easy for the worker to wear this device during high- risk work. The device consists of a NodeMCU which will control the input and output of the sensors, DS18b20 as the body temperature sensor and pulse rate sensor. The NodeMCU also will act as the wireless communication for the device. The device will sense body temperature and heart rate of the worker and send the data to the cloud to be previewed in graph form in Thingspeak website.
