Energy demand for Malaysia has increased due to the evolution of technology and the overall population of Malaysia on the rise. At the same time, the consumption of electricity increases as well. In Malaysia, the production of energy has been overdependent on non-renewable energy resources which are around 90.5% which consisted of 62.6% from gas, 20.9% from coal and 7% from another form of fuel where the rest of it is from hydro which is a renewable energy resource which is at 9.5%. Where non-renewable energy resources are considered as quite limited in amount where it can extinct over time from over-extraction. Due to this renewable energy are in needs to be looked into in order to understand or determine which of these renewable energies is more efficient in order to produce energy. As in this in this paper, the research regarding solar panel is being done in order to investigate which of the type of solar panel available in the market today would have the largest energy production or in another word to determine which of it is more efficient under Malaysia’s weather.en_US
