dc.description.abstractMilling machines have seen their wide range of application of solid material machining in the manufacturing sector. Operations such as facing, engraving, drilling, and milling are performed by milling machines. Computer Numerical Control or CNC, an autonomous system which can be abstractly programmed wherein encoded commands can be used to a milling machines operation. This project involves the application of designing and manufacturing process acknowledge. A Drill press CNC table was designed using CAD software and tested for the stress and strain and load analysis using computer simulation in accordance with the requirements which are taken into consideration. Then, a prototype of the Drill press CNC table was developed according to the design. Then, the prototype was tested for functionality. This Drill press CNC table can be mounted on a drill machine and can be used for machining small parts akin to commercial CNC machine on smaller scale and complexity, with a limited dimension of 8inx8in in size and maximum cut depth of 3in. Finally, the results of the test were analyzed and discussed.
