dc.description.abstractToilet usage have always been the norm in our daily life. It is very important for human being to have easy access to use a clean toilet. In this thesis, the research in usage of toilet and hygiene level was made. This includes the method of cleansing and types of toilet seat cleaner that are currently used. The research was made to have a clear idea on the toilet habit usage in Malaysia which contribute to the idea of the Mechanical Toilet Seat Cleaner to ensure the usage of toilet paper and wastage of water is reduce to clean up the toilet seat before or after toilet usage. The process of designing started with the subjective evaluation data and morphological diagram to pick the right options for the parts to be use in the design. Two concept generation was drawn before the final design is completed. The final design is generated in a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software, in this case SolidWorks. This is to ensure the design can be modify easily if there are changes needed to be made on the final design. The completed final design is then simulated to show how the Mechanical Toilet Seat Cleaner works where it uses certain amount of water to clean the toilet seat prior to the usage of toilet. The design of the Mechanical Toilet Seat Cleaner is made simple to ensure no power supply is needed for it to operate and also it can fit with any current conventional toilet seat design.
