dc.description.abstract | The solar charge controller is one of the important components in the solar charging system. It can control the electricity from the solar panels to the battery and load. It will protect the equipment and transmit electricity safely. However, most of the charge controller is inefficient and low accessibility in order to gain data on the monitoring system. This will be required the manpower and time consuming to monitor the solar charge controller frequently at the site of the solar farm from any unexpected faults or maintenance. For this project, a monitoring system has been introduced to monitor the solar charge controller, to enable data transfer easily from the controller to the users using the Arduino UNO microcontroller and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. This hardware has the role of processing the collected sensor data to be sent to the mobile application based on the Internet of Things. Besides that, the monitoring system interface also has been designed to be efficient and user-friendly. The monitoring system is done using Blynk and MIT applications. | en_US |
