In this thesis, a new soil improvement method was introduced by using cone cell with objective to reduce the settlement on soft soils. The new conical method reduces the settlement by increasing the bearing capacity and by creating soil arching between cones. A selected shape of cones was used in this experiment which is Steps cone that would be compared their outcomes by using Midas GTS NX software. IN Midas GTS NX, the step cones was designed in many cases to compare their shear stress, settlement, and their literature distance and as a conclusion select the best criteria for the cone. Many number and arrangement of cones were used in lab work( Uniten) in order to create a new mixture which called Green Concrete which contains of slag and fly ash instead of aggregate and it is filled inside the step cone. Both materials were studied and tested together and the results of the green concrete was also compared with the normal concrete in chapter 4. As we see from the result, the mechanical performance of the green concrete and normal concrete were assessed in terms of compressive strength and flexural strength after water curing of 7, 14, and 28 days. The durability assessments performed include tests on water absorption and total porosity. After this comparison, we could to choose which mixture is more reliable than the other.en_US
