Bismuth based Bi-2212 phase and Ti added Bi-2212 phase high temperature superconductors are prepared using solid-state reaction method. Transport critical current, Ic was measured at 77 K by using the standard four point probes and compared. The addition of Ti in bismuth based Bi-2212 phase significantly influenced Ic. Ti added Bi-2212 bulk sample is better than pure Bi-2212 bulk sample by having a higher value of Ic. The result suggested that the Ti added Bi-2212 sample has better physical property and higher critical current density compared with the pure Bi-2212 sample.en_US
