From this project, a comparative study and the selection of components are made to design the circuit of the prototype. After that, testing is carried out after the prototype is completely assembled by using a software and run the program. From the testing, the alarm part and getting a fix GPS location of the prototype are carried out until the objectives of the project are feasible. The prototype is added a few features by creating an integration with Adafruit IO to display the results in real-time view. A motion detector is also added into the geo-fencing project by placing a motion sensor into the prototype and create a notification via message through a mobile device of a specific person when sensing any movement around the prototype. Hence, the application of geo-fencing is to manage the security response on an asset from being stolen and view the status remotely in real-time. This project not only limited to security and tracking on a device but there is much more can be achieved in the future along with the rapid development of geo-fencing technology.
