Smart home is the term used to describe a house that is fitted with numerous gadgets, all connected from and to a single network of communication. Since the late 1970s, the idea of smart home automation exists. However, as technology and services are being built, people have modified their perceptions about what a home can do or how the services are to be delivered and accessed at home. The concept about house automation systems has also changed a lot over time. In the past, they have always wanted to give home-dwellers reliable, easy and protected ways to reach their homes if they want to pursue the various systems of home automation. Regardless of changes in consumer preferences, technical advances or time shifts, the function of a home automation device still stays the same. A variety of methodologies such as literature analysis, survey, questionnaires, and interviews are applied by students in order to achieve a greater understanding of smart home systems. A specific challenge for the case study is also to incorporate the smart home and conclude with suggestions for future researchen_US
