Abstract
This thesis reports the modeling and simulation on lumped parameter model for cable joint in cable system. The cable system in transmission and distributionof electric power supply used power cable as the medium of transmitting. The degradation such as partial discharge and water tree in underground cable especially using the cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE insulation was a common problemthat occurred within the cable systems.
