In this thesis, a system of varying exhaust fan speed based on temperature and humidity sensor is designed. The system is design following the increase in smart electrical appliances as Malaysia is going forward to build a whole nation smart grid. Components of different function is assembled in this prototype such as Arduino Uno, LCD display, DHT22, L293D, potentiometer and fan is used to achieve the objective mention in subchapter 1.3. This system gives the user the option to pick a suitable sensor input to control the exhaust fan speed ranging from temperature sensor, humidity sensor and both temperature and humidity sensor. In subchapter 4.7, it is also mentioned the comparison in using this type of controlled speed exhaust fan with an uncontrolled speed exhaust fan. All the information of sensor input, value of temperature and humidity and also fan speed will be displayed through the LCD. PWM model which is inbuilt in the Arduino system will be used in controlling the exhaust fan speed by manipulating the duty cycle. This sytem is called ‘Varying Exhaust Fan Speed Based on Temperature and Humidity Transducers.en_US
