This project is to design a pattern classification system using extreme learning machine (ELM). ELM is a well known mathematical algorithm that is used in various industries for mathematical and medical purposes. This project was taken up in order to test 8 different datasets of inputs to produce an accurate output. 3 methods were used including ELM, SVM and MLP. Different alterations were done towards the algorithms for a mutual purpose of producing accurate and fast output. Many developers have approached this method but a comparison has been done with other methods in this project. Hence, this project could be a benchmark of choosing a proper method for any usage in the future undertakings. Furthermore, suggestion on future undertakings were mentioned in this project in order for better results based on the analysis for this project. Nevertheless, every method has its own pros and cons which makes the decision making tedious assuming the contributing factors were fixed.
