| dc.description.abstract | Protection of power transmission has an important role in a power system. To achieve the better protection it is common to have the relays like a distance relay which well- known in a protection scheme. This project will provide the Computational Intelligence (CI) approach to enhance the distance relay. Evolutionary Programming (EP) and Differential Evolution Immunize Ant Optimization Technique (DEIANT) is a method that can solve the complex mathematical problem hence capable to optimize the relay precisely. To evaluate its performance, EP is compared with DEIANT technique. The development of EP and DEIANT technique is consequently utilize to solve the optimization problem, which is conducted in MATLAB simulation. Comparative studies will be conduct between EP and DEIANT technique. | |
