| dc.description.abstract | Peeling and cutting a mango seems to be not that simple and easy for users. The process it takes is hassle for users. The conventional method would not provide a very efficient process, poor final cut on the mango and does not allow users to go through the process hygienically. Most of the users choose the old method which is to cut using a knife resulting for the price it offers but when talking on the hygiene matters, users agree that it should be a more efficient, yet simple way provided for the process. Based on the survey that has been done, several important information which contributes to the final product has been analysed. The result shown that one of the important aspects is on the time to finish up the process, low maintenance and easy to use. Furthermore, based on the analysis by the users stated the price range of the final product should be affordable enough suits to the functions that the product provides for users. This result has been collected from a survey that has been done. Moreover, the final design chosen by the targeted users is to combine all the 3 criteria of concept designs. To recap, the key for the development of a mango cutter for this project is to be able to provide benefits for users by providing 3 functions. The functions of the product shall offer users an easy way to peel, faster yet precise method on separating the seed and lastly providing a mechanism to get the best final cut.
